"Chance Foundation – We Are Together" and the City of Warsaw cordially invite you to the international conference Warsaw Vision 2024 titled "A City friendly for the Blind," which will take place on October 3rd, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Conference Center (Copernicus Science Center) located on 20 Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie st., Warsaw.
Blind and visually impaired people require solutions that enable them to move independently and safely in public spaces and comfortably use various services and products. We aim to present modern technologies: navigation systems, mobile applications, and social innovations that are applicable in creating an accessible environment for people with special needs. Accessibility, mobility, and innovations are the leading topics of Warsaw Vision 2024. We will showcase a vision of Warsaw that is friendly for blind and visually impaired people, and solutions that are of interest to the city authorities in Poland and abroad. We are convinced that the conference will be an excellent opportunity for personal meetings, exchanging knowledge, good practices, and experiences in the area of accessibility of urban spaces and equal life chances and opportunities for people with disabilities. Join us! Together, we create an inclusive space for everyone.
"Chance Foundation – We Are Together" has been advising on how to overcome barriers for 32 years. We are the organisers of the largest meetings in the world in this field and also promoters of accessibility, equal rights and social empathy. We are achieving notable results in this field, as evidenced by numerous awards and prizes. "Chance Foundation" was also entrusted with organizing the International Mobility Conference, which took place in May 2023. The REHA FOR THE BLIND IN POLAND Conference and the ACCESSIBILITY EXPO are our major projects with a 25-year history.
Participation in the Warsaw Vision 2024 conference is free of charge, but due to limited seating, registration is required. The conference will be conducted in Polish and English.
